What Is the Facebook Friends Panel?

FB Toolbar’s Friends button allows you to see your Facebook friend profiles in a convenient preview panel without actually going to the Facebook Web site. You can sort your friends list by:

• Status update
• Profiles update
• Last name A–Z
• Last name Z–A

Select from the drop-down menu which of your Facebook friends’ profiles are displayed:

1. Status update
2. Online now
3. Recently updated
4. Recently added
5. All

In addition, you can invite or find friends directly from the drop-down menu.

What Is the Benefit of the Facebook Friends Panel?

The Facebook Friends Panel shows you your friends list as a drop-down menu, not as a full page, in the actual page you are surfing. You can see how your Facebook friends are doing without ever opening the Facebook Web site.
